This family lodge is located on the hills and open plains of an old farm and orchard in the heart of the Jordan River Valley.  What was once a family hunting property has become the log home and retreat for enjoying all of the great activities that Northern Michigan provides.  This home utilizes Northern White Cedar log timbers on the interior and exterior of a traditionally built home structure, giving it the authenticity of a log home while providing the home science of a newly constructed building.

The founder of Eastmark Construction has roots in the log and timber frame homebuilding industry and this project gave the Eastmark Team the opportunity to showcase its many talents in that regard.  The project required intense effort with the  carpentry along with close collaboration with the family who wanted to maintain a period classic in log home design. This home is built for entertaining, relaxation, and working on the farm.
